No, I didn't join any groups. Again, it's just too much information. I looked at the group discussing wikis vs. blogs; I looked at school librarians; I started to open a Ning for a group of my librarians friends; we call ourselves 'Pearlfriends' and have a Pearl's Night Out, share 'Pearls of wisdom', and give each other 'pearl' gifts at Christmas. After I set up all the information, I decided I would talk with them first. Some of them have a hard time answering their email,so I know an extra website to check periodically might be overwhelming. I'd just as soon get together with them and talk. Ning does seem easy to use and maybe once the school year gets started I will find reasons to use it.
